Flip It & Reverse It: Part 2 unites Indigenous leaders, curators, artists, activists, spiritual leaders, and cultural organizers representing Africa, Europe, North and South America, and the Caribbean with the Miami community — to share strategies for creative change-making, forge connections, and come away with blueprints for changing hearts, minds, policy, and the world.

Where and Why: An International Conversation
Cultural leaders from museums, biennials, and independent organizations across the Americas, Africa, and Europe gather online for a conversation on the past, present, and future of Flip It & Reverse It — the role of institutions in international collaboration, knowledge exchange, and community-building, and how future partners can expand the project across continents.
Waves in the Eyes: Workshop
PAMM Partner Spotlight — Third Horizon x PAMM CCI. Haitian filmmaker Samuel Suffren opens up his singular practice, drawing on clips from his films and the work that inspired him: a blending of fiction and documentary rooted in Haitian visual art and a unique approach to cinematic time.
PAMM After Hours: Art, Conversation & Exchange
During PAMM's free evening hours, a guided tour and conversation for One Becomes Many — the legacies of eleven Black Brazilian artists and the Afro-Brazilian religion Candomblé.
Waves in the Eyes: Film Screening
A trilogy inspired by the story of Samuel Suffren's father, who left Haiti by boat with 22 others in 1981 in search of the American Dream — told from the perspective of those who stayed. Haiti framed with a latent gaiety, like a joy that will come tomorrow.
Togetherness: Welcome Brunch & Tour
The convening opens with a welcome brunch and guided exploration of PAMM's educational spaces — classrooms and research library — and a first chance to meet fellow participants.
The Queen Mother's Blessing & Procession
On the anniversary of Bois Caïman Day, a public blessing overlooking Biscayne Bay opens the convening — marking the 1791 gathering that helped launch the Haitian Revolution — before leading participants into the auditorium.
Grounding in This Project Universe
How can art help communities imagine and create a better future? An introduction to Flip It & Reverse It through the work of socially engaged artists offering a roadmap for creative change-making. Salvador Selier speaks on behalf of the family of the late Co-Founder Dr. Yesenia Selier.
Reaching Each Other Across Oceans
Through Yoruba-inspired poetry, storytelling, and movement, Adrian Castro links cultures and ways of knowing across Miami, Cuba, Nigeria, China, and Tibet — how ideas and traditions travel across oceans and generations.
PAMM Exhibition Focus
Informal tours and conversations through PAMM's featured exhibitions, led by curators, artists, and special guests — on contemporary art, identity, history, spirituality, and cultural exchange.
Origin Story: Collective Movements Powered by Nature
Tracing the Yanvalou, the Haitian dance connected to the 1791 gathering at Bois Caïman — how movement and collective action shape communities today. Concludes with a live demonstration and participatory dance.
The Secret Unfurls
Following a sunrise beachfront gathering, artists and cultural leaders share reflections that emerged from their collective experience — how art can help us rethink our relationships with one another, with nature, and with the world.
Art is Spirit. Spirit is Art.
At the Little Haiti Cultural Complex, “The Govi Project: Waging Peace” invites participants to decorate govi — earthenware vessels that hold memories, prayers, and offerings. The afternoon continues with a participatory dance class “Yanvaolou Speaks: Voice of the Ancestor”, which will be led by master teacher Dr. Weislande “Yanui” César as she offers an opportunity to experience a foundational Haitian movement tradition rooted in community, resilience, and collective expression.
Chilling Big in Little Haiti
The convening concludes at the Little Haiti Cultural Complex, followed by an afternoon and evening across the neighborhood — food, conversation, music, dancing, and celebration in one of Miami's most vital cultural centers.

About Flip It & Reverse It
An international platform of exhibitions, convenings, and cultural exchange — bringing together artists, curators, Indigenous knowledge bearers, spiritual leaders, scholars, and community organizers who seek to strengthen social and environmental wellbeing through creativity. Founded by Amy Rosenblum-Martín and the late Dr. Yesenia Selier. Launched at the 40th anniversary Bienal de Cuenca, Ecuador — more than 120,000 visitors and the Bienal's Patricio Muñoz Acquisition Prize for co-curator-artist Carmen Vicente — and continuing at PAMM. Conceived as a five-continent initiative, with future presentations at Bienal Paiz in Guatemala, Alice Yard in Trinidad and Tobago.
